A wide range of utility/wholesale energy market information technology solutions is part of the MMWEC infrastructure. Services include the development, implementation, operation and maintenance of computer and information management systems, including corporate websites.
MMWEC provides corporate purchasing and materials management, including requirements for the Stony Brook Energy Center and Administrative Office Building. Services include procurement and inventory management for Stony Brook maintenance activities, as well as contract labor acquisition and management. We also assist Members with procurement for special projects as requested.
Staff ensures the company is in compliance with all federal and state labor laws and Human Resource regulations such as EEO, FLSA, HIPPA, COBRA, ADA, FMLA, minimum wage laws, etc. Staff also develops and enforces company policies, administers benefit programs, administers a bargaining unit contract and negotiates new contracts with union representatives and labor attorneys.
MMWEC manages its corporate records in compliance with state and federal records retention and other requirements.
